One of the things that we have learned over the 25+ years of conducting the NSPS is that the more clarity and alignment there is between all parties involved in conducting the event the better the outcome. To that end we have prepared the following agreement that we hope will ensure that our mutual expectations are met. Participating as a presenter is your acknowledgement of the following.
We are counting on you that:
- Content and objectives of your presentation will be those to which you have agreed with the NSPS staff.
- You will meet the deadlines for submission of the Presenter Form and you will come to NSPS with a completed presentation on the NSPS Powerpoint Template that you will submit when you check in.
- You will meet the deadlines for submitting all the necessary information to NSPS staff, including the AV and other support you desire. Not requesting support means that it will likely not be available to you at NSPS.
- You will conduct a presentation that exemplifies the standards of professional excellence expected of US Sailing Trainers.
- If you can not fulfill your commitment to present you will help find a suitable replacement with the understanding that NSPS staff retains the final approval of all presenters.
What you can count on from NSPS staff:
- Professional response from them in supporting you and your requirements.
- Provision of all that they have promised!
